Manhasset Acoustic Shield
The Manhasset Acoustic Shield is a transparent soundproofing stand that can also hold music if needed too. The main function of this is to protect the hearing of other musicians in a rehearsal space or studio. The large Lexan polycarbonate screen is more effective than glass or acrylic. The lip on the stand is 1.5" thick, making it suitable for holding sheet music as well.
This shield has many uses in rehearsals and performances, orchestras will find this helpful to minmising the volume produced by brass and percussion sections. French horn players in particular can use this as a deflector when the stand is placed behid the instrument's bell. The shield can also help vocalists by acting as an acoustic reflector, enabling singers to hear their voice without the need for monitors.
